Mora school district leaders listened to community members and experts to examine every option to address the school’s needs

The district has undertaken an extensive review and planning process to create a plan that best supports Mora’s 7-12 grade students and their educational future. Local residents have been involved in the long range facilities planning process for nearly 10 years.

Most recently, a task force comprised of 26 members of the Mora community studied options to repair, renovate and renew the current building to address educational needs.

The school board used the insights of the task force, along with assessments of professional engineering firms, to conclude that new construction is the most cost effective option to address our facilities needs.
