Election Day is November 5th
Your voice and participation are important. On November 5th, residents will decide whether to make this investment in the future of our schools.
What are residents voting on?
Question One: Build a new wing at the Trailview campus for grades 7-8
Question Two: Build a new wing at the Trailview campus for grades 9-12 (contingent on question one)
These ballot questions allow voters to decide whether to:
Build an addition to move some of our secondary students – those in grades 7-8 – to the Trailview campus, or
Complete our campus and move all of our secondary students – those in grades 7-12 – to a new wing at the Trailview site, or
Reject all of the proposed investments needed to build a new school
Why are we voting on this?
State law requires voter approval of certain types of major capital projects that require bonds to fund them.
Our 83-year-old high school does not meet standards for education, health or safety. Voters must decide whether to invest in building a new school to support our students and strengthen our community for decades to come.
You can vote early by mail or in person starting September 20. If you are not registered to vote at your current address, you can register in-person when early voting.
